How to perform eco frienly cleaning
Did you know that most of the cleaning supplies in your house are made from things you probably already have? All the added chemicals that can be found in most detergents are not necessary. Below is a list of ingredients you might already have that you can clean and green with:
• Vinegar. White distilled vinegar is a fantastic cleaner. It dissolves dirt, disinfect, deodorize and remove mineral deposits. (Remember to use only white distilled vinegar for cleaning. Darken vinegar can stain).
• baking powder. This is one ingredient that everyone has at least one box in their home. Most people open a box in their fridge, and some people even to brush their teeth with it. Did you know that it is also a great deodorizer for carpets and upholstery? It also works as a mild abrasive. You can mix baking soda with vinegar, wait for the sizzle, and the use of toilets and clogged drains!
• Liquid Soap Castile. Castile soap is made from 100% vegetable oils instead of animal fat. It is an all-purpose cleaner and can be used in your washing machine or dishwasher. If this is something you do at your fingertips, you can easily find at a local supermarket.
• lemon juice. You can use pre-made lemon juice. It is far more economical to use fresh lemons and squeeze. Not only will it save you money, but it smells better too! Lemon juice can be used for disinfection and bleaching. Half a lemon and salt will do wonders for your cutting boards, while a lemon can be used for bleaching the sink. Fresh lemon juice still account for only 4 days, so make sure you immediately.
• soda. Soda looks like baking powder. But it has a higher alkalinity and works well on stains. You can use it in the laundry or to remove stubborn stains from the sink. Soda is a good treatment for hard water stains in your bathroom or even in your coffee!
• Essential oils. Essential oils are generally on the pricey side. But in the long run they will save you a lot of money. A small amount goes a long way. Oils such as lavender oil is naturally antibacterial and leaves a soothing aroma. Tea tree oil is an antibacterial agent and also a natural fungicide. By adding a few drops of laundry, it helps to kill bacteria. You can also add this to your humidifier.
• Hydrogen Peroxide. This is a great disinfectant toxic and works great as a bleach.
• Beeswax. This seems like a high quality furniture polish.
Our mothers always told us that it’s what inside that counts. I do not think they meant when they said cleaning. But it has a very true. The green ingredients is what we all aspire, and it is so much to make our own green cleaners. Green cleaning is not more complicated than our old way of cleaning.
Think before you use disposable products
We all disposable items in our homes that waste, especially because they are available, and we throw them away when we are ready to use them, usually after just one use. Below are 10 disposable product that we can live without using a series of smaller spills alternative products.
Paper Napkins Paper napkins are really a waste product. If you counted the number of paper napkins you threw every week, you would probably understand. If you use cloth diapers, they can be washed and reused. They do not have to be expensive. You can buy them at a thrift shop or you can create them using scrap pieces of fabric.
Cling film Plastic is not only a very wasteful product, but it contains dioxin, and they are linked to heath problems. If you use wax paper instead, you can reuse the wax paper, or you can eat in sealed plastic containers can be washed and reused up.
Aluminum Foil
Aluminium foil is also wasted. It can be washed and used a few times, but most people use once and throw it away. However, you can recycle aluminum foil with your aluminum cans.
Disposable Shavers
These are very wasteful, because you usually can only use them a few times and then you throw them away. Safety razors are a far better choice because you can buy just the blades to rotate the handle and use the handle for many years. You can also use an electric razor. Pre-packaged and frozen foods
In the rush of daily life, we are all guilty of using pre-packaged and frozen foods. These products for a lot of waste, plastic food containers, plastic wrap on top to keep the food fresh and packaging. You can use remnants and put them into containers and freeze. There is no reason to buy these frozen and packaged items. If you buy individual items, yogurt or pudding buying large packages or create your own, and then the individual portions in small containers can be recycled.
Paper Towels
Do not use paper towels are environmentally friendly and use the pad that can be washed and reused. Paper towels not break up very well in landfills.
Water bottles and juice boxes
Instead of buying individual water bottles or juice boxes, set up water and juice in reusable bottles. If you use a safe stainless steel or plastic bottle, it will be the last month. If you prefer filtered water, put a filter on your sink faucet. It is cheaper to buy a filter than it is to constantly buy bottled water.

You can create your own antibacterial hand Spritz by completing a mini spray with water or alcohol and then add 2-4 drops of grapefruit seed extract or tea tree oil. If you prefer to buy products in stores, use a gel or liquid instead of individual wipes.
